WinBrowser - The UnExplorer
Are you tired of wrestling with Windows Explorer while viewing,
copying, or moving your files and folders? There is an easier
way to work in Windows. WinBrowser allows you to access your
files quickly and easily using a multi-pane approach to file
navigation instead of the traditional two-pane approach used by
Explorer. You can navigate any type of disk drive, mounted
network drives, network neighborhood, control panel, recycle bin or
any resource on your computer. Todays large hard drives and
network file systems demand a more sophisticated approach to file
navigation and WinBrowser provides it.
A Full Set of Features
Not only does WinBrowser provide fast intuitive file navigation, it
also provides a complete set of file management features. These
include full drag and drop support, context menus, folder creation,
and shortcut creation. WinBrowser allows you to copy, move,
rename, delete, duplicate, print, run, edit, find, view, sendTo or
show properties for any file. WinBrowser will automatically
display the image of a selected BMP, JPEG, GIF, or Windows Metafile
image file. WinBrowser also allows you to change the associations
between file types and the applications that run them using a
sophisticated but simple to use file association feature. And
wouldn't it be nice to be able to bookmark your favorite files and
folders for even easier access? You can with WinBrowser.
Any Way You Like It
The WinBrowser user interface is fully adjustable and
customizable. You can sort the contents of a folder by name,
type, size, or date. You can group files and directories
separately or mix them together. You can show just the file
names or the complete details and filter them by file type. You
can specify custom icons for the folders and desktop, specify the
default startup folder, and the default text editor for editing
files. You can even choose when you would like mouse actions to
perform multiple selections and when you want them to perform drag
and drop operations. Every part of the WinBrowser user
interface is customizable to fit the way that you work.
