How it works
The Path Scroller shows the selected item's path.  Under each folder's icon in the Path Scroller is the column that shows the contents of that folder.

Just click on a sub-folder in any column and the very next column will be filled with its contents.

Bookmarks plus
You can drag and drop items on to the Shelf to bookmark them.  Clicking on a Shelf icon causes WinBrowser to automatically navigate to that location.

Shelf icons also respond to drag and drops, double clicks and right clicks just like any other icon in Windows.  Once you start using them for file copying and moving you'll never go back.

Multi-Column advantage
Most Windows file managers, like Explorer, rely on a single directory tree to navigate to an item on your PC.  Each time a sub-folder is chosen the entire navigation path can scroll drastically out of view.  Retracing your path to make a new selection can take an significant amount of searching and scrolling.

Multi-column file managers like WinBrowser and the Macintosh Finder allow each folder to occupy its own column so its sub-folders don't get mixed in with all the other displayed sub-folders.  The folders stay organized and the path from one to the next stays clear.
